Video Editing

IAMinVISIBLE

When I first joined IAMinVISIBLE, the first project I had to work on was the campaign "Will You See Me". I was tasked to cut out snippets from the original videos such that we could gain more engagement. The goal was to hit 80 thousand views by the end of April and we have bypassed that. I had to edit snippets and static posts and we were posting daily to keep the engagement going.

During my internship at IAMinVISIBLE, I was tasked to work on several video projects that required me to take on different responsibilities. One of the projects being editing a video titled Lotus, which documented the company’s visit to an orphanage in Batam. This project required me to work on the video from scratch as I was tasked with editing the footages into a video that was under two minutes while conveying the emotions and purpose behind the visit. This meant I had to review all the footage, plan the story flow, search for suitable background music and colour grading the clips. I learned that every editing decision matters, playing a role in shaping how the audience experiences the story.

IAMinVISIBLE participated in that Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival 2026 Singapore Competition and we were tasked to edit the Will You See Me Episode 2 video by cutting it down to 6 Mins for a competition.

My internship also involved attending initiatives that were organized by Youth Corps Community Initiative (YCCI). As part of my attachment, I participated in volunteering sessions such as volunteering at Singapore General Hospital and attending workshops and events organized by YCCI. These experiences definitely allowed me to interact with people from different walks of life, and also people of my age who are interns at different industries. I was able to experience this firsthand and be involved in the community. It made my internship feel more meaningful and fruitful as I was able to contribute both creatively and through community involvement.
